For the 2017-18 racing season, the Class Rules have been amended to require that all boats equipped with any synthetic (non metal) standing rigging report the details and have same noted on its certificate. This includes all factory standard or class legal synthetic rigging. Penalties will be assessed for synthetic fore stays and side stays. Synthetic back stays have no penalty but still must be reported on your renewal or new application. The amended Class Rules will be published shortly.
